MOONDOGGY
A 4-piece indie rock band featuring guitar, drums and saxophone. Based out of Toronto and formed in their hometown of Collingwood. Their debut album titled Mad and Noisy is inspired by life between Toronto’s smoggy skyline and the Hamlet of Dunedin where the Mad and Noisy Rivers meet. Fresh off releasing their second album, these guys are set to kickoff our summer series with a bang!

MUDMEN
Back by popular demand! This rowdy 5-piece Celtic rock band has built a reputation for their powerful sound that merges traditional Celtic melodies with hard-hitting rock rhythms. Founded in 1998 by the bagpipe blowin’ Campbell brothers, Mudmen are national treasures with more than 3,000 live shows to their name.

THE PAIRS
This internationally touring 3-piece folk band features a trio of distinctly unique, classically trained singer/songwriters. Their song Annie’s Daughter recently won Song of the Year at the 2024 Ontario Folk Music Awards. It’s easy to get lost in their sibling harmonies, and their familial banter quickly connects them to the audience.

LYDIA PERSAUD
Performing as a duo with acclaimed guitarist Christine Bougie, Lydia Persaud blends jazz, r&b and folk sounds to create soul music that you can feel. She frequently performs as part of the Dwayne Gretzky band and has opened for the likes of Diana Krall and Gordon Lightfoot. Don’t expect anything less than a moody and moving show.

SONSHINE & BROCCOLI
This musical duo performs original children’s tunes that invite you to sing and dance along. Their fourth album, It’s Cool to Be Kind, was nominated for Children’s Album of the Year at the 2019 JUNO Awards. LONESOME ACE STRINGBAND
This dynamic duo bridges old-time bluegrass traditions with material that is both fresh and timeless. They’ve become festival favourites at Rockygrass, Winnipeg Folk Festival and Merlefest. Anchored by the fiddle and clawhammer banjo of John Showman and Chris Coole, prepare yourselves for some floor stompin’ fun.

ALTAMEDA
This 4-piece band is fronted by singer/songwriter Troy Snaterse and Métis visual artist and multi-instrumentalist Erik M. Grice. Their third album, Born Losers, debuted at #1 on the Canadian folk music charts and was nominated for Adult Alternative Album of the Year at the 2023 JUNO Awards. Together they create seriously good folk-rock grooves that demand your attention.

DEVIN CUDDY BAND
Devin, the son of Jim Cuddy from Blue Rodeo, effortlessly combines blues, country and rock influences to create a sound all his own. His debut album, Volume One, was nominated for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year (Group) at the 2014 Juno Awards. Performing with his 4-piece band, they’re set to close out our summer series in style.
